Alone. with the moon.

Was lying on my bed yesterday night and gosh the moon was so bright. Couldn’t sleep so spent some time staring at it and thinking of some stuff.

Picture this: you’re lying on a grassy slope, facing a river, with totally no obstruction in front of you. The sun is out but not shining directly on you, and a cool breeze blows your hair all around. Feels like you do not have very much a care in the world huh. i wish i could experience sth like that.

However, looking at the moon does the completely the opposite. No doubt it gives me a sense of serenity, but i start to think about things that make me sad. Well, I really don’t know if i have done anything to offend you without even myself knowing it, i’m sorry. but please don’t ignore me anymore. It makes me feel really sad.

Special day.

Beena long time since i blogged.

Am blogging today cause its a special day today. Why? Cause its her bithday today.

Wrote her a card and bought her a ‘teaser’ present. It was all the flavours i could find. Haha i hope she likes it. =) Haha I’ll only give her her actual present the day after A levels, if we’re going to watch 2012 together. =) Then again, if i gave her her gift now, her world will go 2012 too. ( haha in a good way of course.) And i hope you won’t scold me when i give you the gift. It really isn’t much. Hmms i really hope she’ll enjoy this day to the max, cause its a brief respite for her from all the stress she’s facing. Don’t worry, it’ll all work out in the end. Jiayous!!!!  =)

Happy Birthday to me!

Haha well techically my birthday was ytd cause its lik 130 now. But i just reached home from a good day outside. Happy happy!

Well today morning i woke up to see the arashi and inoue mao quiz show that candy had burned for me. couldn’t stop laughing at their antics. Candy xie xie ni!! =) Then at 11 plus all the smses ‘bombed’ me. Haha. Thank you to all who wished me happy birthday! Really appreciate it!!! =)

Then i went to meet shyan for lunch. Super regret making her wait for 1 hr….. sorry ‘sis’! will make it up to you! But it was funny eating mos burger with her. Cos there was this super cute and adorable kid that was behind shyan and he kept on looking at us. and shyan gave him a fry and he took it and ate it with a happy smile. uber cute. His parents also surprised. It was a nice feeling.

After bidding shyan goodbye, i went to meet wei yang and the rest at orchard. but not before dropping at Kovan to get sth. Guilty guilty cos i ponned tuition. :S Then upon reaching shaw house, i met wy, reb, matt and marcus. Haha we deicded to to first to ka chiao xing yun at taka where she was working…. And as expected the same argument happened between her and marcus.

MARCUS: ( for dunno what reason): You where not happy?

Xy:(with irritated look): I everywhere not happy!

Yea kind of expected. Oh well its part and parcel! =)

Then we sent reb off and went over to lucky plaza hoping to play pool, but not before detouring to Ion. I was hoping o see her, but didn’t get the chance although she was there. boo…. and the pool place was under renovation! Tsk. then we decided to go Dhoby. but picked up denise before that.

At park lane, it was surprising to see timothy there before us when he was supposed to come later. haha oh well stranger things have happened. =) It was just hilarious playing pool. we paired up, and there was tim and marcus, wy and matt, and denise and me. Haha we started off with a ‘losers’ stay rule…. but we realised that wy and matt kept on playing. Then we changed to winner stay but then it was always tim and marcus playing all the time. Tsk. haha but it was full of hilarious moments.

Then wan ting joined us. We played awhile more and then left for dinner. I had to go off with my parents for dinner. But not before meeting with denise bf, arif. He looks better in person than in the photos. haha hontoni. The my parents brought me to kallang to eat. but almost everywhere was barricaded cause of f1. Irritating…. Lucky managed to eat at like 9 at the thai village seafood restaurant.

Went back to meet the remaining few after dinner. left marcus, denise, wt, and wy. Then we just chatted. Then i called her and we chatted. Haha. she had a happy day. so did i! right after i chatted with her. hee =) but your leg pain take care ok. massage and put some medicated oil ba. will be better. Will be seeing her soon. Happy happy. haha.

Then left about 11 20. Took train with wan ting. and now i’m settled down. Gonna sleep soon. Thanks to everyone once again! Really appreciate it! Xie Xie!

And to her, don’t regret! Next year lets watch f1!!! Hopefully they’ll be back again!!!! Haha i know they will! =)

tired…exhausted..

been feeling under the weather today. had some sort of flu. then headaches. alll throught the day. Just not feeling well… and prelims are just next week. Will i suffer a burnout? I really don’t know.

don’t think i will be blogging till after prelims. which end on the 25th.but the thought of celebrating my birthday on the next day cheers me up abit.

But yesterday was definitely one of the best days of my life. It would be so much better if she read this blog. =) Went to watch a movie with her. Day was full of surprises(for her), eggs and ya kun kaya toast. Hehe.

Long hiatus….

hello people! I know, i know its been super long since i posted anything.

Well, been super busy i guess.

Lemme start with the major events first then.

First of all, SYF. Well, it was disappointing at first to get a silver, but i’m happy for everyone cause we know we all did our best for this. To all CO members, you guys gets a GWH for the effort put in man. We’ve gone through thick and thin together. We’ll all come out stronger people.

Next up was Colosseum. Gotta meet up with the new batch of cheerleaders. made some new friends, Most imptly was the the routine was awesome man. A-W-E-S-O-M-E! haha. Sorry guys if my video at the start was shaky and super lao ya. my apologies. It was great spending time with u guys although the celebration at fish & co was somewhat marred. Oh wells. =)

Haha oh those were the major things that happened. Well, the first week of the ‘hols’ are over alr, and boy, am i a worried boy. been out the past 5 nights last week, wed till sun.

Wed: went for dinner with the exco and the teachers-in-charge. It was great fun talking to them, getting teased by them, tim wei and miss liu cracking lame and cold jokes, ( miss ng is seriously good at psychotic jokes!!! just kidding! =) ) Haha. We also combined celebrate jing xiong’s and wendy’s bdae. Haha gave them a brownie cake. =) Then we went up to take neoprints. Ooh fun fun! Never take them for omg dunno how long man. It was super hilarious watching the girls decorate and accessorise you like nobody’s business. But i really liked it. Man, I’ll miss this exco…. Its been great being together with you guys and i won’t forget u all!

Thurs: Went for movie and dinner with the class. Omg a class outing after our last one, which was like the shopaholic movie and jade’s shopaholic dance. =P Haha we went to catch night at the museun. Super hilarious. Didn’t know i directed the movie as well… my name was everywhere! Haha butit was real funny and we were laughing our butts off like crazy. Went to eat carl’s junior after that, pigging on a humongous burger..Shawn ah Shawn..

Fri: Was the CO’s Farewell for the jc2s. Sorry guys i was so late and held everything up. =( As i was taking the long walk towards the pitts from Vjc, i couldn’t help but feel emotions rushing throughout my entire body, i got pretty emotional i guess, having to leave the cca which i felt so much connection to. T’was there where i felt the happiest as well as the lowest. I became who i am cause of CO. The j2, you guys were the motivationg force i our pursuit for SYF gold, your hunger was what pushed us to the limit. The J1s, you guys were the hardworking like siao bunch. Never willing to give up, staying back to brush up your skills, all these all played a part in what we are today. To the new batch of exco, I’m sure you guys can do a better job this year and I believe MJCO will become even better with your guidance. Thank you to my section, the gifts were great! Thanks the exco for the plate, and thank you to those that wrote notes and cards for me. I will never forget you guys.  Here’s a photo of the gifts!

Well that pretty much sums up the things that happened to me…. Haha now its time to get down to business and study real hard for the Mid years. Getting an A for my chem test has really motivated me to do well. i hope i can.

Memories…

Was just clearing my ridiculously messy drawer just now.

Found quite a number of photos and notes….. from my ogms, valentine’s day, birthday cards. All are recent.(I come from a boys school, so i don get this stuff.) Seeing it really made me think about the great friends i’ve made in my jc life and remembering about the times we had, happy or sad, made a number of tears well up. But its ok.. knowing that i have support around me.=)

MBTs over….. SYF next….

Hey people, its been almost 2 months since i last posted, but its been really hectic and full of work. but now MBTs are over, its a short breather before i hit the crazy road to syf again….

1) SYF prep—– Believe it or not, we finally managed to get permission to use the hall for our practices! =) Finally no more irritating echos when we play in the MPR. Yea sure the music sounds good, but its such a poor measure of our skillls. I’m glad we could use it. Rehersal is on the 28th. 30 more days to rehersal. 38 more days to syf…… STRESS!!!! But you bet i won’t be stressed. Why? Hmm, you gotta ask me. haha.

2) Guitar syf—- Am helping the guitar with their syf. I hope that they will do really well, and zhi min will put up a good performance. Not putting stress on you guys, but i really really think you guys will do great! :) syf will be on the 28th. Ganbatte!

Wells i’ve been so tired all the ways till mbts that immediately after the MBTs, some of my classmates arranged to watch Confessions of a Shopaholic on thursday night.

 Haha the show was super duper nice yo! Worth the ka-ching that i paid for it. =) The movie was super late and at 945, we were all crowded at cup waker buying cup walker and dumping it into Mich Aw’s bag and Biondi’s bag. The others that were there were the unglam Jade, the ‘Gangsta’ Chen Peng, the skinnies Gary, Choon Teng, Huimin and me! (When you see the pics you’ll understand that its just a joke.) =D

Haha saw Wenxin there too. I think was celebrating a friends birthday. So got fate. Haha! =)

 Haha during the movie chen peng and jade were laughing so hard that me and gary were wondering if there was anything wrong. lol. By the time we finished the movie at 11 45 , Jade was super high over the dancing and everybody and laughing at her antics. haha!

Me and biondi nearly missed the last bus home. whew! But Gary wasn’t so lucky, but thankfully jade’s mum gave him a lift home.

Like Jade says, 08S105 is addictive like dope yo! I really cannot wait for a future outing. =D

Haha , last but not least, i waana say thank you to her, for giving me a listening ear and words of encouragement when i was down and stressed out with everything. The “Tsk” word describes you, for you always say that when i say something stupid or irritaing, but i know that you just want to laugh. Haha. Every minute spent with you is super precious to me and i hope it stays this way.

ORIENTATION!!!!!!!

Bam! Whish! Woosh! Splash! Woots! =) This week has been a blast for me!!!!!! Orientaion 09 was simply a blast!

OGMs were the best!!!!! It was definitely worth waking up at 5 and sleeping at 1. =)

Ying Thong: Didn’t really get to talk to her much cause she had to leave early….. =(

Amelia: Didn’t get to talk to her much too. She didn’t seem to be around when we went out. =(

Busy week…. wanna wanna a break! =)

The week’s been a blast!

Here’s a day to day recount:

Mon: CNY Rehearsal and practice from 5 plus to 8. Shag Shag Shag…..

Tues: OGL meeting at 530… Then had to rush for tuiton at 8… Choing choing!! Haha, i like my OGL shirt. “shawnyprawny”. Haha.. Omg Omg. ><”

Wed: CO practice till 530 then down to canteen to lau “yu sheng”. Haha. Ok there weren’t any expensive fish… but all the same, it was delicious!! Adding pomelo into it was delicious too!!! I loike! Haha the funny thing was that when we lao, we couldn’t see our hands, and after it was over, our arms were full of oil and sesame seeds! OMG. Anyways,  thanks Edinna for the gifts too!(: Here’s of pic of us! Went home at 7 plus.

Thurs: Rehearsal till 6 plus. Lucky earlier… would have suffered a mental breakdown if not… Hope i would do ok for my econs test! Don’t wanna fail…

Fri: CNY celebration!!!!! NO lessons! Performance put up by us was not bad to me, but i hoped the audience could hear us. I was so so so nervous!!! Haha but who wouldn’t be, when you have 2 photographers snapping complete pics of u perfoming! Was also Yan Hua’s birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Got her a card. Hoped she liked it. (:

Sat: That is today, 2 minutes from the next day, and i’m typing here now. Had my going out plans affected… but good things happen when u least expect it huh? Just when i was feeling a bit down, my dad suddenly said that he was treating us to a seafood meal at the turf city! Man man! i was so happy. Mak was there too, surprisingly! He was there with his paternal relatives. Now had a sumptous dinner, bought a new hi-fi set for my bro, and i’m home blogging now. (:

This week has been tiring and long…. Feel like not doing any homework and relaxing my CNY off. But then scared that i’l not complete it on time. But somebody told me that i had to stay positive and to jiayou, i would be able to finish. Well, it motivated me. Thank You!!! (: I’m gonna finish my work tmr!… Oh wait…. its today! Haha =.=”
